Big Things Are Happening

Aloha Everyone,

The progress is coming along real smooth with my album. I am going into the studio on Tuesday to work on my latest work "Devil's Playground" with my drummer and my producer Ronnie King. The song sounds amazing. It is very reggae influenced. When we finish that song we are going to finish my song "Policeman." I have a special guest who will be working on the song with me. Down aka Kilo, Mr. Lean Like a Cholo. He will be rapping a verse on the song. I am very excited that things are coming together. It feels great to have the support of established artists who believe in my talent. My label Wright Records has been very cooperative with everything. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to succeed in the music industry. It is a very tough business to survive in. I was once told by a friend that you need to have thick skin to succeed in the music business. It becomes a whole different ball game from recording at your home studio to working in a professional studio. It can be stressful at times because you consistently have to be on your A-Game. It takes my level of performance higher working with the caliber of people I work with. I have the opportunity to work with legendary veterans in the industry and the expectations are very high. Confidence is my best friend.

I just want you all to know that I work hard for this dream. I have come a long way since the day I picked up my first guitar when I was 19. All those days of writing and practicing are paying off in a major way. I just hope that you are a believer too. Believe in me, but most of all believe in yourself. Make it a point that you will come out and see a show and buy my album when it comes out. It is my heart and soul that I have poured out into music. I know you will all enjoy it. Hope you make it a successful day and never give up on your dreams.

Aloha,

Abel G.
