Aloha Thursday

So it looks like I will be recording again soon and working on completing my debut album "The Greatest Story Ever Told." I am very blessed to have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the industry. My producer Ronnie King really pushes me to my full potential and together we achieve success. We are very creative working together and we honestly make magic happen in the studio. I have been really working hard to come up with the greatest material. Making music that the fans can really appreciate. Music is my passion and I am truly glad I have been putting my talent to great use. I have been very fortunate to have the life I do. I have been blessed with a son from a truly remarkable woman. Without them and my music I have nothing. It gives me the desire to push myself to the limits to be the best I can be as a father and lover first and foremost and as a musician. It is the life I live.

Wasted talent...

Nothing we have been blessed with should be taken for granted. We all have the gift of life and we make the decisions to succeed or fail. Everything takes hard work. We all must make use of our talents to the best of our abilities. There maybe shortcomings and success doesn't happen overnight that is why we must stay committed to the cause. Eventually it all pays off in the end. Stay true to yourself and never give up. You never know where the journey may take you. Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a successful day.

Aloha Thursday,

Aloha Monday

Confrontation...

We all must deal with confrontation in our lives whether good or bad. It makes us who we are and most definitely shows our true character as individuals. I do my best personally to avoid conflict and overall try and live a drama free life. But the music business is a crazy business and there is plenty of confrontation between record labels, other artists and the general business overall. I find myself going to battle in order to follow my dreams of being a successful recording artist in this industry. Trust me, it can be difficult sometimes. I usually keep a solid foundation and prevail when it comes to these situations, but it never fails to encounter shady people in this business. Everyone is out for their money, bottom line. The music business is just like any other business, which revolves around money. There is nothing for free, everyone must get paid. There are the studios, engineers, mixers, masters, producers, musicians, managers, publicists, photographers, and we cannot forget about the labels. You only make money if your making them money. There is a constant pressure to stay focused and maintain marketability. There is a fine line between who is hot and who is not.

Presently I am doing my job well with what I am working with. I have a solid team of people backing me as well as investors, the people who invest their time and money into my music. It is a very intricate process from start to finish and takes a lot of discipline and dedication. I do my best to stay level headed when it comes to the business aspect of things which can be very tiresome. Like I said, everyone wants their money. This can easily relate to anyone who is involved in business matters and confrontation. Be wise and do not take things personal because business is business. It is best not to burn any bridges and take out frustrations on the people who support you, because in the end that's all you have. So keep your support network thriving and everything will come together like it is supposed to.

I just felt like touching base on the music business today and explore the concept of confrontation.

Aloha Monday,

Aloha Wednesday

I know it has been awhile since I have done my blog. I have been super busy with life. I welcomed in the newest addition to my family, Santiago Kai Garcia. Life has officially changed for good...for the better. I am a father, a proud father of a healthy baby boy. I never thought something could bring so much joy into my life. There are no regrets and my past has led me to this present day as a father. I have so much going on in my life with parenthood, my family, my music, I just feel super busy. I will do my best to keep up with my blog daily.

Change is a great thing. It is great to get a new outlook on life and switch things up and make things exciting. Gaining new perspective can open your eyes and make you see things in a whole new light. Life is exciting and is a wonderful path of joy. Its what you make of it that leads you in the direction that your headed. It is definitely worth it to live a positive life, people around you will take notice and feed off of your energy. It is great to set an example for those to follow. We all have people who look up to us at all times. I feel the pressure of setting an example for my son, since I am now a father. I am determined to do my best from here on out. Nowhere to go but up from here...thank you lord for my blessings...Cheers

Aloha Wednesday,
