Aloha Friday

These days, I find myself looking up to my younger brother. He has so much will and determination to accomplish his goals. He is a pretty well established gentleman, but he strives for more. He inspires me to keep on going strong, stay healthy and maintain a well balanced mental healthy lifestyle. His life has been far from perfect, but he still overcame his share of obstacles and worked very hard to get where he is today. He has always taught me to never give up on hope for the better. I have learned a lot from him.

It is important to keep inspiring people close to us. People you can learn from on a day to day basis. It is great to be an individual, who learns and grows from others. It makes us who we are today. We learn from our family and friends how to walk, talk and interact with society. It is important for us to grow everyday and build our character. We are human beings with flaws but as long as we work on them in a positive way we will achieve the best outcome. Be who you want to be and shine like the sun and the stars. We only have one life to live, so live it up.

Aloha Thursday

It is great to have an abundance of things in life. An abundance of love, peace, tranquility, and joy in our lives. It makes a whole lot of difference being happy with ourselves. When your smiling, you make others smile. A smile surely beats a frown. There are times in our lives when we may be down and out, but we must look for the good and positive to keep us going strong. I always do my best to keep a smile on my face, even though I may have my moments, I still do my best. I mean face it, at least were alive and living. Nothing can beat that. For those alive and dealing with medical issues, I pray for you. Wishing nothing but hope for the best and that miracles do happen to keep you safe from harm.

We all struggle with things that don't go our way. Its a fact of life, but our struggle to maintain happiness is what makes us who we are today. We must live for today, not yesterdays pain and tomorrow's hopes, but for right now. All we have guaranteed is what we have right now. We control our own destiny so we must make the best of our situation and work for the better. With that said, take control and let an abundance of happiness guide you safely towards your goals. With hard work anything is attainable. Maintain peaceful motives and the joy of life will abundantly flow for the good naturally. It is a beautiful day out there today, so make the most of it, because tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Aloha Wednesday

Today is a brand new day filled with love, joy and adventure. I am eager to show everyone my latest material. I have been working very hard, digging real deep into my soul and pulling out the pieces to make beautiful music. Compiling stories of my life and painting vivid pictures with words for your enjoyment. To me, creating music is my greatest asset. Music is the universal language of the world and I am thankful that I have been blessed with the talent to make incredible music. Ever since I was a child I always had a passion for music and as I grew older I became fascinated by the guitar. I never had any formal lessons, I kinda just picked it up on my own since I began attending college. I began writing my own songs and here I am 9 years later and I am working with some of the best people in the industry. It has made me count my blessings and overlook my flaws.

Talent is a gift and should not be taken for granted, nor wasted. Whether your a naturally talented singer, musician, hard worker, dancer, athlete, parent, great friend, photographer, etc. take advantage of the opportunity. You just never know whose life your going to touch and inspire as well. We all need role models and inspiring people to look up to. So set the example, you just never know who may be watching or listening.

Aloha Wednesday,

Aloha Tuesday

Adapting to change can be good and bad for us all. It is important that we keep a great support group of family and friends. The people who make us feel stronger. The people who help us out and grow as individuals in this ever changing world. It always helps to have a network of people who help you achieve your goals. People who support one another. Without the support of my family, friends & fans I don't know where I'd be today.

I have dealt with plenty of struggle in my life like everyone else. I struggled with troubled relationships, drug addiction, money problems, problems with the law, disloyal friendships, etc. I am a human being with nothing but the greatest intentions but I have had my share of roadblocks. It makes me thankful just to be alive each and everyday, because at times I was very close with death. At the deepest low points and it took plenty of struggle to get where I am at today.

It takes struggle to equal success and a tight knit family and true friends will be there all along the way. So today I am thankful for all of my blessings and the people who have an impact on my life for the positive. Without you, I wouldn't be here. So thank you supporters.

Aloha Tuesday,

Abel G.

Aloha Monday

I sip my green tea as I write this blog to you. Every morning I begin my day with a good run to spark my energy. As I am running there is so much time to think about how I am going to plan my day. I think about new ideas for music, ways to better myself and I just think about life in general. I go running on some local trails so I get to see water, nature, wildlife and get some fresh air. Its a great way to start my day, even when I'm dragging and I don't feel like going for run, I still force myself. It is my escape from reality when I get a chance to be in my own world. Nonetheless, it is still healthy to get some exercise.

In this world it can sometimes be a never ending battle. A battle with work, bills, money issues, relationships, friends, personal issues, etc. We all must have the will to survive another day and do our best to face the battle head on. It is hard to come at peace knowing everything is perfect, which is highly unlikely for us all. We can strive for perfection, but regardless we fall short in some aspect one way or another. So with that said, we must do our best and eventually the joy of our successes will outweigh the failures. Hang in there because hard work does pay off and only you can make a difference.

Aloha Monday and thank you for reading,

Aloha Sunday

It has been awhile since I have updated my blog. I will begin to do my best to keep this thing updated daily from now on. I took a much needed break from the overall scene to regain new inspiration. Sometimes life can be overwhelming at times and I was definitely overwhelmed with all of my new success. You know you work so hard for something your whole life and when it happens the stress overtook the joy. I have been rejuvenated and have a whole new array of material to display for your enjoyment. I plan on going in the studio again to work on new material that will blow your minds. My guitar playing is getting exceptional and my writing abilities have improved a hundredfold...actually a million times better. I am very excited to show the world whats next.

With that said, never give up. Sometimes taking a break is necessary to regain the confidence and inspiration needed to accomplish our goals. Long term gain is better than any short term results. So stick it out for the long haul because life is a journey and you never know where it will take you.

Aloha Sunday,

Abel G.
