Everything is gonna be alright

The universe works in mysterious ways. There are so many factors which contribute to this theory. Whatever thoughts and energy you are exerting the universe will respond accordingly. Overcome adversity

We all go through challenges in our life. Nothing can ever be perfect. It is the way we react that determines the outcome. We all have a choice. I try and see these misfortunes as opportunities to be a better person. When faced with adversity we must remain positive.  Like with all things, it will soon pass. Don't burn your bridges

Forget the past

Living in the past is not a good thing to do. Focusing on the future causes anxiety. We must take action now. We can't just wait to expect things to get better. The only way things will get better is focusing on the present moment. In actuality that's the way the universe works. We must learn to block our thoughts and shut the mind off. All is good

The power of now

The only thing that matters is the present moment. Focus on what you are doing right now. Do not focus on the past or hope for change in the future. Awakening

Get in touch with your inner soul. Don't let negative energy affect you. We all carry around a pain body, which is the unconscious part of our being that feeds off of negative energy. The pain body is where all of negative energy is stored throughout our lives. The more you hang on to the past negative experiences the larger the pain body. To become conscious and aware you must acknowledge that the past tries to haunt you. Once you can acknowledge that it is there you can begin a path to freedom. We are all one kind

Regardless of race, color, sexual orientation or religion we are all one kind. The human kind. We need to stop the war mongering and learn to accept people for who they are. Investment

It takes money to make money. If you truly want to pursue a career in music be prepared to spend some money. Nothing in the music business is free. No matter how talented you are. I learned this in 2009 when I had my first experience in a real studio. You definitely get what you pay for. You must be willing to spend money if you want high quality material. I know now anyone can set up a home studio. But honestly you sacrifice quality of not having a professional educated engineer. That is very crucial. Music is a very expensive and shady business.  You never know who your real friends are because it all comes down to money. I cover the rent, food and bills. Anything left over goes towards my music career. I sacrifice everything for my career. I usually end up broke in the end...but it is all worth it. Every penny counts. So if this is your choice of career be prepared to invest in yourself. How can anyone take you seriously if you aren't willing to take yourself seriously. Believe in yourself and others will believe in you. This is a tough business and you must be willing to have thick skin and be prepared for the unexpected. I'm grateful to have Ronnie Kings support. Fulfilling the dream

Yesterday I made the decision to work on getting a publishing deal for my song writing. I have been a legitimate song writer since 2008. I have my publishing company called Strategical Pinnacle and that's what I'm trying to do is get picked up as a song writer. I have an extensive catalog of music ranging from all genres. Writing songs is what I do best and it would be a huge accomplishment to sell my music to established recording artists in the industry. That is how I will break into the industry writing hit records for people. I would rather be behind the scenes than in the spotlight. I want to be known in the industry as a hit maker. I'd rather write music and be in the studio all the time. I don't want fame. It's just not for me. Like I always said it is about the music. I made this sacrifice after reading an article on Bruno Mars who began his career as a writer and producer with 22 songs in his catalog that were all top 100 singles. Now he's 60x platinum. People say no one is selling records anymore. But this is proof. That is millions and millions of records sold. If he can do it, so can I. Since day 1 Ronnie King said I could do it. I wanna be respected by my musical peers and known as a hit maker. If a solo career opens up after selling so many songs, then maybe I'll consider it. I just don't want to put too much stress and pressure on myself. I would love to be able to just write and be in the studio. It's been my dream ever since 2008 and now its finally coming true. Determination

I remember when I first started making music seriously back in 2006. People made fun of me. Told me I suck. Even my own family said i could never do it. Basically knocking me down for pursuing my dreams. I've always been a writer and poet since 6th grade. As a kid I remember being at recess and lyrics and rhymes would pop into my mind. I figured it was normal and everyone's mind worked that way. I didn't realize until 2007 when I told my cousin about it and he basically said no. Not everyone's mind works like yours. It finally hit me that I had a special gift. I wasn't creating music to earn anyone's respect, I just truly enjoyed it. I've always have had doubters and people had a pre conceived vision that I was just some womanizer.  But it's all just rumors. The point is I never quit because I didn't care what people thought of me. I just wanted to make music. I look back and think that all the times people said I sucked, it just made me want to get better. You don't have to like my music. I understand not everyone will, but that's just the way life is. I've worked so hard to become a better writer. I taught myself how to play guitar. I was jealous in High School that my friends were making music and in bands because deep down inside that's what I wanted to do. I didn't get my first guitar until I was 19 going to school at UC Irvine. I practiced everyday because learning guitar is not easy. I wanted to write songs, but it was just a hobby. I was going to school to become an attorney. But I realized maybe what my family wanted me to do  wasn't what I wanted to do. I've lived such an adventurous life that it gave me stories to turn into songs. And here I am now 32 years old and working with some of the best in the music industry. I am glad people doubted me and ridiculed me because it motivated me to just keep getting better.  Moral of the story...don't ever let anyone knock you down. Believe in yourself. There will always be haters. But that's the game of life. So stay strong and never give up on your dreams. That's all I was, a kid with a dream. Don't let other's opinions determine your fate. Confession

I know my blogs are always positive and uplifting, but you have no idea what I've gone thru to get to this point. After I finished graduating from UC Irvine things were going very well. Great job good money. It was more than I could ever ask for.  But then tragedy happened in my family and it led me to a path of self destruction. It was a battle that I wasn't strong enough to over come. Then in 2009 things seemed like they were finally coming back together until I lost my mind. I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. I had been dealing with it since 2005 untreated. Until September of 2009 I had a full blown episode after I had just signed a record deal. There were so many factors that contributed to my break. I was finally hospitalized and they got me on meds. When I finally snapped out of it I realized whoa that was the first time In 4 years I felt back to normal. It was a bumpy road of trial and error to get me on the right meds. But the battle against the schizophrenia was the toughest thing I have ever dealt with in my life. Still to this day everyday is a battle. At one point I just accepted it. I quit making music and I was lost. It wasn't until 2013 that I finally felt comfortable to put myself back out there. And I also met an amazing woman who is now my fiance who was the greatest inspiration I've ever had. And now were in 2014 and I finally battled back my way in the music business. That's just a summary of what I went through. The details would take too long to write about. So just know this...if I could battle back from this debilitating disease. I believe anything is possible. I hope my story someday will inspire others to never give up regardless of the circumstances. The schizophrenia will always be there but I choose to not let it defeat me. So whatever your dealing with remember somebody always has it worse. Make the best of your situation and stay positive. I thank God for the strength and courage it took to battle back. But I'm here alive and doing well. If I can do it...anybody can. Stay strong my friends. Consequences

Well today is the day I must turn myself in for some trouble I got in 2012. Nothing too serious. It was for a DUI. Thank the lord for everything because I got house arrest after fighting this case for over a year. I am good to no one if I am in jail. I did this so my music career would not suffer. That's how real it gets to me. Music is how I make my living, so the music must live on. I apologize for my actions and I must do the time. 58 days of house arrest. That is alot more manageable than 150 days in jail. A lot of people behind the scenes helped make this happen. I wanna thank you all for your support and I will not let this situation set me back. We got new music on the way and trust me it is really good. The timing of everything worked itself out and allowed me to focus on the music. Its a great day to be alive

I am a rich man

I am not rich in material wealth because money does not make you happy. I am rich when it comes to an abundance of love. I don't need an exorbitant amount of money.
