Home sweet home

 

God it feels so good to be home.  My comfort zone.  Back to the place where the foundation is based on unconditional love.  It shouldn't be anything else.  Surround yourself with the people who bring happiness.  None of that bullshit drama.  

I'm very pleased on how the video came out.  We really put a lot of effort into it.  Just be ready for the finished product.  You'll see a little of what I am like and what I represent.  Its a positive movement.  I won't sell out to the corporate uniform and will always write my own music.  No ghostwriting allowed.  I write all my material and sell songs to other artists.  There are many ways to make money in the music business.  Branch out and grow your network.

Yesterday was an amazing day.  I feel so blessed to even have the opportunity to shoot a music video.  It seems like everything is falling into place.  The network is growing bigger and the connections are growing stronger.  Trust me, it seems like its who you know in the world and being at the top of your game when opportunities arise.  Step your game up and take risks because you never know what the outcome will be.  Don't waste time thinking of the things you wish you were doing.  Get out there and go for broke.  Don't let mediocrity slow you down.  Take a chance and believe in yourself.  People won't take you serious, unless you take yourself serious.

Let the light shine in...

 

Positive energy feels so warm and comforting to the soul.  Be open minded and optimistic about the situations that occur everyday.  Good or bad, there is always something to be learned.  Life itself is the biggest learning experience anyone could ask for.  Constantly testing the mind and bending the brain in every way you can imagine.  Just breathe and take it all in stride.  Don't sweat the small stuff and let things ruffle your feathers.  Just stay calm, cool and collective.  Take life one day at a time, one moment at a time.  Sometimes all it takes is some patience and slowing down the mind.  Clear all the junk that is taking up space and make room for the things that matter.  Peace of mind is a very comforting place and it opens up your senses to consciousness.  Be aware of your surroundings and enjoy each and every moment life brings forward.  Good or bad, there is always something to be learned.  Its what you make of it and what your perception is.

Whatever it takes

 

Just like the photo, life is a paradise and I'm doing all I can to keep it that way.  Whatever it takes.  Enjoying every possible moment, slowing the mind down from all that noise and changing the thinking habits we create.  Let destiny manifold into reality.  Your life can be whatever you want it to be.  Life is your own perception of it.  I may not be the richest man in the world and I am far from perfection, but I am still happy.  I do believe I am a great role model and I love to spread those good vibes.  There is a bumper sticker with some palm trees and it says "No Bad Days."  That's how I dream my life is.  When you can feel it, believe it, and see it, there is nothing in the world that is unattainable.  With some dedication, discipline, and inspiration the journey is amazing.  Life is a gift from God, so live it up and never hold back.

Stand up for what you believe in

 

 In my opinion,  I believe everyone's voice should be heard.  Speak up, because people are paying attention and listening. That is why I do what I do.  Running multiple websites and making music to get my voice heard by the people.  I wanna gain true fans that will appreciate everything I do and stand for.  I stand for equality and positive thinking.  I pay attention to what's going on in the world and spread the word.  I believe we should all be socially conscious.  But like I said its just my opinion.  People are gonna be the way they wanna be regardless.  But if in some way I can spark a new idea, then that makes me happy.  It is a job well done.  I wanna inspire people to be better and  for them to follow their passions.  Don't waste your life away.  Don't take it for granted.  Life is a luxury and can be anything we want it to be.  Believe in yourself because I believe in you too.

Keep your senses alive

 

Isn't life so incredible.  Just the feeling of being alive.  We have such wonderful senses.  Imagine a life where you couldn't see, touch, hear, smell or taste.  Don't take your life for granted, it could always be so much worse. The experience of life is so beautiful.  So many great things to look forward to.  And a lot of times it's just the simple things that can satisfy our emotional needs as well.  The sound of the ocean is so soothing, and the sounds of a river flowing just puts the mind at ease.  When the mind can finally slow down and just gives you a moment to smell the roses and take all your surroundings in is amazing.  Being at peace with the mind is such a gift when you are completely in the present.  That is when our senses are at peak levels and everything feels incredible.

Old Connections

It is so good to reconnect with friends.  Time moves on, but the friendship never wears off.  I have a circle of people who I have made music with in the past.  It is so awesome to collaborate again with them.  We have all grown into artists that show how talented we truly are.  I just click with certain types of style.  Right now I am working on several projects.  Ranging from song writing, producing, composing, hip hop, rap, r&b, reggae, rock, soul and jazz.  I enjoy all genres of music and I also hope to write country music as well.  I just believe in myself as an artist to be able to adapt and be flexible to all styles of music.  This point in my life I am so inspired by so many things.  Maybe it's just that I am more mature, who knows.  Life right now is so rewarding with so many gifts, I am just blessed.

Don't tread on me

Whether good or bad, people have their opinion on whatever you are doing.  Especially if you are vocal about it and telling people what moves you are making.  It is best just to keep things to yourself.  As long as you know what you are doing is right for yourself, then forget what anyone has to say.  Keep on moving in the right direction and don't let anyone slow you down.  You never know how far you will make it, so don't let the critics bother you.  It's just opinions anyway.  Everyone has an opinion.  Remember there are only so many people you can trust, so keep your circle close.  

As I move ahead with my career, I wisely the choose people who I want to work with.  People are always looking to run game on you.  Using you for their own ulterior motives.  The music business is very competitive and it seems everyone is all about themselves.  Be cautious and stay true to yourself.  Most of all, forget those people who do not support you or don't believe in you.  Kick them to the curb and don't even waste your time.  You know what you are capable of.  Take it to the next level and shine on.

Life Long Experiences

Make each and everyday an amazing set of good memories.  Don't let the bullshit wear you out.  Stay positive and keep standing tall.  Have the the mindset that nothing or no one will get the best of you.  Don't give in to the negative vibes.  Misery loves company.  Toxic people will try to persuade you to lower your consciousness, don't let it happen.  Stay aware and in the present moment.  Make it a positive atmosphere and let your glow do the talking.  People should be able to feel your energy instantly.  Body language is everything, so set the bar high and you shall succeed.  Stay shining like the sun.

Its all about the aura...

The energy you are emitting from your soul has a big part of what type of glow you have.  People can notice your energy right away.  Has anyone ever said to you that your aura is shining so bright.  It's a figure of speech.  It is an acceptance of being at peace with one's self.  Living in the Now and seeing the present as a gift.  In present, I mean being aware of what is going on right now, in this present moment.  Shutting the mind down and living in cruise control.  Trust me it creates pure happiness.  

 

The thinking mind constantly reminds us of things and we get lost in it.  Its so much better to learn how to control it and know that your thoughts are there.   Except they are just in the background and you are focused on everything that is happening right now.  I think it is at an all time high when you are outdoors and sensing everything.  The smell of the air, the birds singing, the sun shining, the wind, the water, the rain, it's everything around you.  Surround yourself with joy and you shall receive.  

I hope everyone has a great day filled with genuine happiness.  Experience life to its fullest and get everything you want out of it.  It takes effort, but its worth the struggle.

Give it your best shot

Regardless of the circumstances, all you can do is give it your best shot.  You may feel like you are falling short of the finish line, but don't give up on the race.  Stay strong and continue to fight for the results you wish to achieve.  Life is in no way is an easy task.  All you can do is hope for the best.  

Don't listen to the critics and those who try and ridicule you.  Just stick to your guns and adjust to the game of life.  There will always be people who want to give you their opinion.  Just listen, but don't take their words to heart.  You know what you need to do to get the job done.  Be confident and let your preparation work the angles for you.  Perfect practice makes perfect results.

Don't Hold Back...

Make each moment and every day count.  Live life to the fullest extent and don't hold back.  Be a fearless warrior and aim to have no regrets or any doubts about the decisions you make.  Everything you have experienced in life has led you to this point.  Preparation is everything.  Learn from every situation to become a better person.  Don't let negative energy get in the way of your success.  Stay true to yourself and don't let distractions get in your way either.  Life will always throw obstacles at us.  It is just the way we react to them that matters.  Don't lose your cool or get upset.  Just take it in stride and be the best person you can be. 

I always imagined my life would turn in this direction.  I just never could pinpoint when it would happen.  It is so awesome because the timing couldn't have been any better.  I am especially pleased that I am more mature at 31 years old.  I was definitely too wild in my 20's having fun.  I am having fun at my age now, but it is now about my career and family life.  That is most important to me.  Being present and handling everything responsibly.  Being a great father and devoting myself to my lifelong passion of music.

Open your eyes to the experience...

When life starts heading in another direction, accept it and gain as much knowledge as possible.  Determine what are the positives and negatives out of a situation.  Take note of the energy and figure out a response.  The best thing you can do is be a sponge and soak in all the information.  Things can change on a day to day basis.  Be prepared, think outside the box and stay optimistic.  

My life has kind of changed course.  Its still in the same direction, except the circumstances are different.  It should all lead to the results I have been working towards already.  The opportunity has changed to an even better conclusion.  I just have to use my talents to help others.  Not a bad gig at all.  I enjoy helping people.  Selfless expression is priceless.

Make it count...

The decisions we make ultimately determine our future.  It's all about taking chances.  Do things that will take you out of your comfort zone and be courageous.  Take calculated risks that will get you ahead in life.  I never expected things in my life to turn out this way, but I was willing to take the risk.  I don't wanna wake up one day and dread on the things I never did or accomplished.  No way,  I want to be able to know I am doing everything I want and need to be doing on this adventure.  Life is a ride.  Make sure you enjoy everything you learn to better prepare yourself for any situation life throws at you. 

Stay cool, calm and collective.  Patience is the best quality anyone can have.

Its such a beautiful life...

The cold air coming off the mountains is very refreshing and takes me back when I was camping in Yosemite and Kings Canyon.  The feeling gives me so much peace of mind.  Its relaxing to the soul.  Something about being in the wilderness just does it for me.  It brings a time of reflection on life.  I feel so privileged to live here.  I feel so privileged to be alive after everything I have been through.  Life is so good right now.   I am blessed with good karma.  I have paid my dues and debts to society.  I am free.  

I am 31 years old and everything kinda changed for me.  I have a beautiful son that I love so much, closer connections with my family and I cherish the relationships I have with the people who love and care about me.  My dad always said this kind of stuff would happen.  In my case, I love to have a good time so it just happened a little later in my life.  I wish what I knew now that I would've had the wisdom in my 20's.  But what the hell, I was just having a great time and enjoying life to the fullest.

Sitting on the dock of the bay

It feels good to be me right now.  I have accomplished so much in so little time.  It is an amazing feeling.  Without struggle there is no progress.  I am happy to be at this point in life.  Finally the planets have aligned and I'm in the right solar system.  Passion and hard work is finally paying off.  Whether you believe in me or not, all that matters is that I believe in myself.  I know what I have  gone thru to get where I am today.  I did it all on my own with the support of those who genuinely care about me.  In return, I offer the same respect as well.  I do my best to stay optimistic and spread that energy everywhere I go.  Its the Law of Attraction.  The energy that you send out into the universe will be the energy you receive in return.  Its a bold statement and I firmly believe in it.

We all have a choice on how we want our days to go.  It starts with your mood and attitude from the moment you wake up in the morning.  Believe me, you know the saying, "You must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today."  It may be an old saying, but its true.  Take on the day with an open mind and see where your daily adventures will take you.  Stay confident and don't have any doubts about yourself.  Remember its your energy that matters most.  Its up to us how we wanna live.

Capturing The Blue Sky

Live in the moment and don't hold anything back.  Make your first impression the best impression.  Give the people something that they will remember you in a positive way.  Put your best foot forward,  stand tall and be confident.  You have nothing to lose.  

I am exposing myself in my music and giving it all I've got.  Everyday I am improving and I want the world to know it.  I put in countless hours to perfect my craft and I love the results.  Today I'll be in the studio. After the music is complete I will have enough material to start performing.  I love being on stage.  It gives me a rush like surfing does.  I get in then zone. 

I am working on getting my music heard by those who are in the next level of the industry.  I am getting positive feedback and I am very proud of myself for taking that next step.  I have invested a lot of money on myself to get to this point.  It was definitely well worth it.  I am going to be shooting music videos also.  The time to take my career to the next level is now.  It's time to make some moves and stay prepared for the next chapter of my life.

Life is an experience...

 Everyday there are opportunities presented to us.  Even if you have a routine, pay attention to the clues at every possible moment.  Think outside the box and accomplish the impossible.  Get out of your comfort zone and have a leap of faith.  You never know unless you try.  No one can do it for us, we must be strong and do it for ourselves.  Think of it as an investment towards the rest of your life.  Whatever it is you choose, do it wisely and lead with your heart and soul.  I promise it is definitely worth the struggle to succeed.

You know I am very pleased that I am writing my blog again daily.  Just like I was when I created it in 2009.  Things are moving in the right direction and it is all positive energy that I have to give.  I am not selfish.  Nor am I conceded.  I am grateful for the life I live and I make sure I thank God every opportunity I get by never giving up.  Living with no fear of the outcome.  I am on a course to living my destiny.  It is exciting and a blessing to be able to do what I love.  

My life changed drastically once I quit drinking.  Alcohol was a poison that was destroying my life.  I had no choice but to quit drinking.  My sobriety saved my life.  I was on a path of self-destruction and to be honest I had no clue why.   Certain events happened and left me with no choice but to quit.  The support of family and friends was exactly what I needed.  They saw what it was doing to me and couldn't stand the sight of me throwing my life away for alcohol.  The cold hard reality finally woke me up and I have been sober since.  Sobriety brought my music back into life and I am enjoying every moment of it.  

This is in no way telling you what to do with your life, this is just me explaining to you my experiences.  I just want people to enjoy their life and hopefully something in this blog will ignite a spark in you.

Always putting up a good fight...

Never give up on your dreams.  Stay persistent and consistent.  Let your heart take the lead and follow wisely.  Pay attention to the signs and take advantage of every opportunity that comes along your way.  Stay on course and don't stray off the path.  The truth shall set you free.  Search for your most ideal lifestyle and make your dreams come true.  Hard work does payoff.  Keep those close to you who support what you are trying to achieve.  Don't take the people who love you for granted.  Cherish their support and you shall go far.

Just Cruising

The mountains surrounding my house are an amazing beauty.  It is peaceful scenery cascading throughout the horizon.  Its that country living at its best.  It feels so good to be away from the city and having peaceful surroundings.  I never want to leave this place.  It was the perfect move that I so  desperately needed. 

There is nothing wrong with opening up change to your life.  Sometimes it is needed to gain a new perspective.  Change can be great if you accept it with open arms.  My quality of life has improved with change.  I have lived in many different locations throughout California, Oahu and Kauai.  Everywhere you go there are different vibes to the atmosphere.  It also is determined by what your own outlook on life is at the time.  

Currently, I am very optimistic with the direction my life is going.  Life is all about timing and right now it seems like I am right on time.  It is a great feeling.  

I honestly believe in you and support your decision to be happy and to live in a positive way.  I love improvement in myself and others.  Go ahead and drop me a comment.  I wanna know how you are doing.

I am A Proud Native American

About a year ago I found out that my family's bloodline is from the Ojibwe Nation.  Since then, my spirit has developed into a fearless warrior.  The feeling is so awesome.  I believe new heights can be achieved and I can soar throughout my dreams.  I can take on any challenge or opportunity knowing where my heritage comes from.  I'll admit its added some spunk to my steppin.

Walk around proud to be who you are and where your from.  Show appreciation for your roots and learn your culture.  Everyone is special and unique in their own sort of way.  That is one of the greatest things about life in my opinion.  It would be no fun if we were all the same.  We would be like programmed robots.

Its that All Good Music

I want you to understand that all I strive for is to make good music.  I try and find the best producers to work with.  I am investing my money to make the best music possible.  I want the music to come out clean and high quality.  That is why I choose to work at the best studios I can find.  I spend hours editing and mixing to make the music perfect to my ears.  I really want to thank WayzWhizz and Tim Frantz for working with me on this project and their patience.  If it ain't broken don't fix it.  I have found what works for me and I am going to stick with it.

Don't be Fooled by the Introduction

Today I introduce brand new music for you.  I am very pleased about how it came out.  It is a very fun song.  It is about my friends and I, having a good time.  It makes me wanna get up and dance.  Its all about the good times in life.  The video for this song is gonna be very cool to shoot.  I am looking forward to it.   

Its just amazing how things can just fall into place.  I don't think its luck or coincidence.  I think it is all about preparation.  Its like rehearsal before a show.  You get everything perfect through hours of practice to make sure everything is all good.  When its go time its showtime.  The same kind of concepts that should go into everyday life.  If you stay ready you don't have to get ready.  

Since you never know what kind of situation life is gonna throw at you, be calm, cool and collective.  No need to loose a screw when your buttons are being pressed.
